2036 is here! (Looks left, looks right, crosses fingers this is the real, stable thing.)

Had one VG in Asian, everything else looked awful. Eh, not what I was looking for, but I'll give him a shot at catcher. May be 26 or 27 before he gets big C. And no hitting. All well.

Had 4 Very Goods to choose from so it was a pretty difficult decision, but happy with the 13pt starting pitcher I got.

Gambled on international and won big, for once. This guy looks like he has potential to be a solid starting outfielder. http://brokenbat.org/player/175728

A possible C- Rf/Cf isn't good enough for a first rounder when your minor leagues suck. All those wasted alternate universe picks in 2035...

In my experience these guys are almost always 12 or 13 POTs, but you have to wish upon a star sometimes. Nice bat, should be a middle order hitter at C/DH.

Gen Zhao is quite a letdown in the first round for a scouting report like his. He should be serviceable, but he’s the sort who looks like he’s supposed to show up around Round 4 or so.

Tried Asian Posting and nabbed a 13 SP, so I will take it...much better than last year...good enough for me.

For the first time (ever), I got a 14+ pitching prospect.

Roland Parkinson

He smells a bit overrated but here's to hoping and praying that he develops quick enough that the team doesn't retire before he can contributed!

Per norm, complete garbage option out of college for the first round. Best option was a POT 11, Above Average POT who at least had Very good hitting. C&R 1st round which is business as usual for the Halflings :(

As usual, garbage in the first round. The only time I did well in the first round was the deleted season (in which I landed 5 13+ POT players and 3 14+, because of course).

Okay, so he's not total garbage, I'm sure he'll be a fine DH, but still disappointing.

Patriots are very pleased with their first rd pick this yr. A positive fielding report would’ve been the icing on the cake but no complaints:

Very happy with a 14 pot P, but an unusually low SI for an AAA in the Asian pool - Ichiro

This was my 1st rounder. Respectable but I don't think that he'll develop into much more than a possible role player. May end up on the waiver wire at some point.

Doesn't sound like too many people are ringing the bell in the first round this year so far. I would've liked to with a 15- or 16-Pot. By the looks of it, the second round might still be stacked.

Unhittable LHP. First I was hoping for more in the first round draft pick but this one is definetly a keeper. He's gonna eat LHBs as a breakfast and lunch.

"Very Good Potential" is pretty rare. In the last 6 seasons I have only had a "Very Good" option in the first round once. And it was this joker... A few times I didn't even have a "Good" option in the first round. Then you are stuck with an "Above Average" C&R in the first round like I had this year.

Pretty content with this 13 POT OF. I would've liked a higher POT in the first round, but from what I gather, we can't all be lucky with a 14 or 15 pick.

There is no draft the week after the 1st round opens. The second round starts after the first week of spring training, which is two weeks after the new season begins. Same every season.
