He definitely doesn't have the arm to play C, especially not with some of the other people I have at that position. So where should he go? |

Arm isn't nearly as important at 2B as it is at SS, and his outstanding fielding and range will make him a real asset defensively. The only question is if (as a 12 POT) he'll have enough hitting tools to be an asset offensively. The power will help, but may well come with a poor average and OBP, so you have to ask yourself if you can live with a guy like that in your lineup. On your majors roster I'd be playing Quintana in LF, where his great range and poor arm (and average fielding) would be a better fit. Latham isn't much of a 2B either but at least he has some hitting skills. |
