These guys can in some cases get sent back down after a few updates and won't have the "learned all he can" message any more, but really I think you can bring all of them up and play them as much as you can, they'll grow faster that way. Di Carlo and De La Rosa are 26, they won't have much (if anything) to gain by staying down. Varela and Gustafsson have no experience of AAA, and Varela only has 23 games at AA, so I'd leave them both down all season. There's a chance that neither fully pans out. |

newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive | Agree with amalric, except De La Rosa I think could use about the first third of the season at AAA due to the length of time he spent at AA versus AAA. Just my two cents. As for 26 year olds in the minors, see Quintanilla, Rosa, Schubert, or Murillo on my team. It really depends on where a player is at in their development. |
