| I have two questions about player transactions: Is there any extra cost when you sign or release a player? Also, is there a best moment on the week for releasing players? Like just before the economic update, since the player will take his weekly salary anyway. Thanks! |

| I don't think there is any extra cost and when I feel like I need to release a player I just release them and not try to time them up | ||

| I might be wrong but if I have a player on my roster bubble I may give them the boot just before economic update figuring I will be saving paying him? | ||

| That's my point. If I have a player with good performance but high salary that i want to cut it would be a good idea to cut him on thursday night instead of saturday. Can anyone confirm that? | ||

| Salaries are calculated during economic update on Friday. I don't think the algorythm is smart enough to check if a player was on your team during the week, and pay him 5/7 of his salary if you released on Wednesday for example. Maybe Steve can confirm or deny that. So my educated guess is - if you release a player before the update, he's not getting paid. To your first question - there is no fee for releasing or signing a player. |
