34yr CF Rental Patterson is totoally not as expected. I was hoping for at least .300 on base. But his .150/.215/.200 is discusting. I know its only 60 AB but I'm aiming to move up this year and not sure i have the patience to find out if this is a true age decline. His %is solid defensively...wish he still had range.

I have two replacement options in house:
AAA Stoddard who just got the "may have learned" tag
Or Narvaez who got the call last year but i demoted for similar bad offensive numbers and I suspect hadn't really finished AAA training despite the scouting report.
I do have room to bring both young guys up and alternate to give both playing time... maybe I'll do that. Hopefully one will perform in someway.

Patterson will probably do a little better than that in the long run, but his best days are behind him. I would not expect him to reach .300 OBP.

I'd probably just start with Stoddard on both sides of the plate. But Narvaez probably will do better against lefties. So if you are trying to get wins, you might do better with them both.
