I have this guy up at ML as he's "learned all he can at AAA."
Crespin Saucedo [ID #155938]

Drafted him in 2032 bumped to 3A this spring then the "learned all" tag. Age 22.
He's at 61 SI, 12 POT and 2 Control! ERA 2.25 in 8 IP at Lvl 4. AAA ERA was 2.31 in 23.5 IP at AAA.

1) Do I disregard "Learned all" tag and send back to AAA?
2) Do I leave him at ML as I'm training young guys for next season at LVL V?
3) I've never seen a 2 for control, don't think I'll drop him until he crashes.

Any ideas???
thanks

I'd keep him up as a right hand specialist. He was drafted out of college, which could indicate he was drafted with a lot of training under his belt. Also, his defense stats are low for a 12 POT and he'll probably continue to gain 8+ on his skill index per season. His BB is highish, though he keeps the ball on the ground and in the park and K's a lot of batters. If he can get better against lefties, I think he could be a decent closer or set-up.

I would never bring a guy up before 1.5 years in AAA. However we had that glitch at the beginning of the year where some guys receive 1+ years worth of training. So this year is a special case, and he is probably fine to go up.

thanks Rock777.
That 2 for Control just doesn't seem to fit to me.

He is going to be on the low side for Control with that scouting report. Also probably doesn't hurt if you want to put him down to AAA for a little bit. I don't think any of us really know how to best handle the training glitch.

You should leave him up for interdivision games, but if he is still hot going into September then let him pitch the three games againt Lewiston but then send him back down to AAA..... just before you play me 😉
Just Kidding.

Honestly I think he likely will do fine. I am keeping my guy Arce down in AAA but my situation is different and he is still growing despite the callup tag. (Not to mention he isnt getting nearly the good stats in AAA)

Thanks for the advice! I'm trying to get him all the innings I can to extend that 7 stamina. Then he can start all games vs the BullNose! Ha!
I hope to be in better shape later in the season but we'll have to wait and see. Major rework in progress...
