| How long is the waiver period when a player is released? Sometimes it seems like players get several full days and sometimes it seems like they become a free agent almost instantly. Does it vary with something or is the length of the waiver period randomly selected? What's the minimum and maximum? Thanks in advance! |

| It's random. Time to the update plus a whole number of days. During the season the minimum is 1 day. the max is like 4 days. Think during the offseason the minimum might be 2. |
