Those are the guys who even if you lose a week of optimal training can most afford to lose it. High SI doesn't mean they are actually growing well, similarly prospect ETA is so inaccurate that I don't think I've even bothered looking at it in several seasons. The development graph, plus scouting comments are really the best tools for making decisions. Specifically where the guy's current skills are versus where the projections say they will end up, and how fast he is getting from starting SI to his peak SI. |
