I do have Rich Brill at 3B and Theo Holliday at SS. I'm not experienced in these game but in my opinion they would be better if they would swap their positions. Holliday is still in AAA. Swaping them may cause to pick Holliday from AAA a little early. (I'm following AI recommendations for minors.) Will it hurt his development? Both have some experience at other position and there is still Spring Training. Swap them or not?

And another question. Is there any guide how to set bunting and Hit & Run strategy? Cause I have no idea how to do it.

Range is probably the most important thing at SS. I would leave Brill at 3B. Holliday may be better as Catcher given his arm. He probably still needs two more seasons in AAA, so you could dual train him at 3B or C.

To tell the AI to consider a guy for hit and run, go to Management and check the box for Hit & Run. This will enable the AI manager to choose to attempt a Hit & Run while that player is at bat.

Well, I think I have already a decent, 26 years old catcher http://brokenbat.org/player/143024 so it wouldn't improve me much. My current SS http://brokenbat.org/player/140568 is rather bad, and my only candidates to improve SS are Brill and Holliday. I'll probably leave Holliday as SS, it would make less trouble.

I had on mind how to set bunt/hit & run settings so it would benefit my team. Which players should bunt/hit & run more and which shouldn't at all. I have turn them all off, because I don't know how to set them properly. Sorry for such questions, but I'm from Poland and baseball there is nonexistng. I have learned baseball from computer games and internet.

Holliday would certainly be an improvement. Thing is, Holliday is already maxed out in SS training. Which is why it wouldn't hurt to train him at Catcher. It never hurts to have flexibility if your starter goes down. And Leahy may not be as good as you think (especially against RHP).

There will be many different philosophies for Hit & Run. First off, the manual calls out Bat Control as being important for Hit & Runs, so you want guys with decent BC. Also you want to consider their average performance. Is the guy a good hitter overall? Then you also want to consider where he is in the batting order. Will it be advantageous to the move the runners before him, or can they get to 2B on their own (by stealing)? Are you just risking an out with the heart of your order up, or are you going to move a runner into scoring position? I'm usually pretty conservative with Hit & Run myself, but each person will have their own philosophies.

Have to agree with Rock - Brill is better left at 3B, and Holliday should play C (Leahy is a poor hitter, his results are terrible even though defensively he's fine) or even OF - his Arm would be terrific in CF or RF.

Polanco is one of the last guys you should play at SS - you ideally want 15+ in every defensive attribute (Fielding, Range, Arm) at SS, and an atrocious fielder there is about the worst thing you can do in the game. Holliday is only an average fielder so doesn't belong at SS, and Brill doesn't have the Range. I'd look for a replacement on waivers, but McMullin would do as a starter for now.

Ok, I'll make Holliday play catcher for now and I'll try to find a new SS. Thanks for advice.
