knoxvol Joined: 04/16/2018 Posts: 61 Inactive	Now that the 2040 schedule is out, do we know what day the 1st round of the draft will be? Is it always a certain day of the week? Or a specific number of days before Spring Training starts? It seems like every season it sneaks up on me.

amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2237 New York Lancers V.4	The 1st round usually happens after the season rollover is complete, but after the Official Draft Discussion changes are afoot - although we're not exactly sure what they are, beyond a few details. Steve has said the 1st round will take place after training update #1, so likely 22nd March. This coming week is the World Classic and spring training follows that, so I imagine we'll have the full week of ST before update #1 and then the draft will begin. Just what the draft will look like also remains to be seen, but there are some amateur players listed already which might give us a glimpse of the possibilities.
