Max_Flieger Joined: 03/19/2019 Posts: 6 Inactive	So, we seem to have four minor league teams at our disposal. We have the Rookie league, A, AA, and AAA. I am guessing high school draftees go to the Rookie league, and guys almost ready for the show go to AAA. How long does the average player (who eventually goes to the show) spend in each league? As a secondary question, how long does it usually take to train up recruits?

Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5201 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends	Players progress at different rates. My own grading scale, but guys who take 1.5 seasons per level I consider good. (Some are faster - they are exceptional). 2 seasons per level is probably closer to average. Some are slower - 2.5 or worse. Note that new rookie ball players usually come with some progress at the level. The move from R to A ball is often shorter than the others. Quick progress would be 4-5 seasons from R to the bigs. 6-7 more typical.
