What am i not understanding? in spring training games there deninetly should be alternatives so he shouldnt play when tired, right? |

If you don’t want him brought in when tired, either set him to “--” or take him out of the bullpen altogether. From the manual: Settings: "x" never (or no limit for fatigue limit) "--" much less often "-" less often " " default setting "+" more often "++" much more often |

That suggests to me that none of your available pitchers fit within your settings. Righetti was done, so someone had to come in. I'd look closely at Arellano's settings in particular. My guess is that's who you would have chosen to come in. My bet is something in your settings on him prohibited him from coming in. | ||

I had two of them and none were used when to new pitcher came in in 8th inning to face the LHB. Arellano the Long Believer was carrying light fatigue from yesterday with setting '--' so thats why he didnt play. |

Who cares if they're rested? You're trying to save your better arms for closer games. In your instance, the game had to force a pitcher in. I have no idea who it chooses when that happens. Avoid that by loosening your restrictions so it will listen to your wishes. |

Long time ago there was no forcing in to game, and pitchers used to throw irrealistic amount of pitches. So now its forced. Thanks for help Mike.
