| How much of a role do coaches play? Is it important to make good decisions when it comes to coaches? Also, should I do it based on the scouting report or skill level for each thing? Final question, Are their any coaches that are more important and what skills should each of the different types of coaches have? | ||

| Its worth it to try and get the best crew you can. Scouting report is probably more valuable. Coaches don't improve like players, rather they "reveal" over time. So they perform at real skill immediately. It just takes ~10 seasons for you to find out what that real skill is. What each one does/needs is in the manual: Hitting Coach: primary coaching contribution is the offensive performance of the big league players. Also helpful for offensive player development. Pitching Coach: primary coaching contribution is the pitching performance of the big league pitchers. Also helpful for pitcher development. Bench Coach: coaching contributions include improving defensive performance and development. Also helps with general development. 1st / 3rd Base Coach: above and beyond their in game roles, their primary coaching contribution are general player development. |

| I'm not sure, but I think it might be based on the number of games. I think it happens on Friday when the players also update. I just know that they change throughout the year, and I'm never 100% sure exactly when they changed. Manager reveal over the course of ~5 years. Coaches reveal over the course of ~10 years.
