If anyone wants to inspect my team and see where the problems are, please do! I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Despite having players with what I consider decent stats (which correct me if they aren't) they can't seem to refrain from allowing 3 or more runs in just an inning or two. Is this the rotation? The management? The defense behind the mound? Poor ballpark design? I'm trying to pinpoint the root cause but as you can see, struggling. Still need to review my field defense overall, my outfielders have good bats but terrible gloves. Thanks ![]() Edit: I also may need some educating on bullpen roles. I assume this may have influence on performance, so any advice on that is appreciated as well. Updated Wednesday, March 5 2025 @ 3:18:21 pm PST Updated Wednesday, March 5 2025 @ 3:20:58 pm PST |

Your team is a much better offensive team than mine, and I concentrate a lot on defense, so I'm not sure my thoughts are useful. Kiké Ramírez is not a right fielder, he doesn't have any range or an arm, but his bat is great. He either belongs in LF or as a DH. Maybe Kiké Ramírez should be the DH and maybe Acuña should be in the outfield? Your pitchers are not that terrible, so it's either that your defense isn't helping them, or your management settings. So, on to your pitchers - if I had just taken over your team, here's a few things that stand out to me: Jim Bone is probably your ace at the moment - he's had a great careeer and is still pitching well. João Vitor Lima has had a good career, but is probably cooked. He's not pitching well. If it were me I would try to replace him. Scott Seal had a good year in 2058 but has hovered around replacement since then, and seems to be getting worse. Ruben Muniz is hard to tell because he hasn't pitched much this year, but he could be solid at LHS. Everyone else is hovering around average or better than average. |

Your pitchers have a nice high GB/FB, which means they will perform best in a small park. That large park is killing them. They do a great job keeping the ball on the ground... But there is just way too much free ground for the batters to target. This is exacerbated by low range OFs. A smaller park will be easier for low range OF to handle, and provide less open spots for hitters to drop the ball in. As it is, its a paradise park for hitters. Especially low power hitters with high GB/FB (which is not the majority of your hitters). Updated Wednesday, March 5 2025 @ 7:09:17 pm PST |
