Wenzel looks fine for 2B. His fielding is a bit on the low side for SS, but might even consider him there for the longer term. You can't really do to much wrong with these batters as long as Horan is in the lineup.

As a general rule you want to keep lefties at OF/1B/DH because they get fielding penalties in other positions.

Its hard to tell EXACTLY how much impact the position experience has, but I always try to get my guys capital positions before playing them at the major level. 1B/OF seems to suffer less (because they don't field too much), but its hard to tell the impact. Like does an "of" impact your Range? I know a "c" will impact your pitching performance.

I personally give a little more weight to Range over Fielding at SS/2B just because it impacts the range of the whole team. But really you want both.

Your pitching isn't horrible. I wouldn't make drastic changes, but a couple things to consider.

- don't jump to conclusions with only 10 innings pitched, but do look at minor league performance.

- WHIP is a much better indicator of performance than ERA. But consider things like HR rate. A guy like Matthews has a really good WHIP, but he gives up way too many bombs.

- some of the guys have low control, walks can really hurt you. As a general rule, I'd try to get guys with a bit more control 12+ at a minimum. But it depends 13 Control guys can have problems too, while a guy like Chavez is so dominant control isn't an issue...

- Not an immediate concern, but its valuable to match your pitching styles to your ballpark. This ballpark is designed more to the hitters than the pitchers, which is fine. But if you are going to stick with the large park, you want more flyball pitchers (guys with very low GB/FB rates). Doesn't hurt to have some mix so you have guys who can play in opposing small parks, but you will play half your games at home, and groundball pitchers will perform poorly in your park.

I know SS and 2B I would want good fielding, how much does 3B matter? I just signed Holman who is a pretty decent fielding SS and probably want wenzel at 2B now because of his range, but I am debating between moving acuna to 3B and Horan to DH, or keep Horan at 3B and put Dunn at DH. Dunn is having an amazing year and has always been a great hitter, just doesn’t really seem to have the skills to play in the field anywhere. Horan has 12 fielding, 13 range, and 14 arm while acuna has 15 fielding, 14 range, and 16 arm.

Also, Rock, I just signed your former 2B Antonio Molina to potentially get better fielding their with a pretty decent bat for maybe a year or two. Let me know what I should do there because I also want Wenzel to develop. For the longer term I am thinking I want wenzel to become a SS because I have a 19 yo 15 potential guy in AA with 19 range and outstanding in the field with 7 arm, who also has great hitter report.

I think you will be ok with any combo as long as you play Horan. Range isn't too important for 3B, but Fielding and Arm are both valuable. I would lean towards Acuna, but really Dunn might be better because of his fielding. The only reason I would consider playing Horan at 3B is because it makes him more valuable in the long run. If he DHs, he will slowly forget how to play 3B. Acuna is also getting older, so limited return on investment in the long run.

Molina is getting long in the tooth. I'd probably stick with Wenzel (so he continues to develop) and use Molina as the backup, or maybe for important games if Wenzel is flagging.

You could also use Holman as a backup and play Molina at 2B if you want Wenzel to develop into your future SS.

Are there any suggestions for pitchers? Overall my pitching sucks so I don’t not if that’s even able to be saved but when looking at pitchers what should I be looking for? I’m told looking at LL6 stats isn’t great but are there other things that I should look at if a player only played there? Are certain attributes better than others or some combination of attributes?

I like to look at the minor league stats, because everyone plays at the same level in the minors.

Can anyone explain what actually makes a pitcher good? I know that there can be a 20% error in the listed attributes so is that why some players that on paper are way better than other just seem to be playing awful? Are there some hidden attributes that are just random? When I’m drafting a player should I be looking just at his scouting report(which is what I have been doing) or also looking at his stats?

Both Hitters and Pitchers can perform WAY off what you would think from their attributes. That is why you need to evaluate performance. Its generally a good idea to look at some the the Legends teams, to see what they value. Although honestly I don't think it will be completely uniform because everyone has their own theories. However if you see everyone is for instance getting hitters with solid Hitting, or Pitchers with high Control, then that gives you an idea that those attributes are important.
