The range would be wasted at catcher, however, I have seen no definitive reason to waste that good an arm in the outfield. The difference in outfield assists between the best and the worst arms is far less than the difference between the best and worst catcher arms.

There's already a bunch of strong-arm outfielders in my system, and only two guys that can play catcher, one of which has only 10 arm and another one is left-handed.

No hit tool to speak of but might make a decent CF/RF one day. (edit: just checked, he has the highest rating of all my prospects!) Updated Friday, March 11 2016 @ 8:30:41 am PST |

My minors system was terrible when I took over: just two draft picks made until this season, and even then I blew my 1st rounder before properly reading the rules. I've drafted or signed 13 of the 21 minor leaguers on the team, and only one of the carry-overs was a VG/14POT rating. Might try Suzuki at SS with that outstanding rating, and his 15 SPD, 17 RNG, 14 ARM. |
