Got an okayish 13 pot guy http://brokenbat.org/player/127387, but not sure where to train him.

@Yuri, RF or catcher, whichever you need more. The range would be wasted at catcher, however, I have seen no definitive reason to waste that good an arm in the outfield. The difference in outfield assists between the best and the worst arms is far less than the difference between the best and worst catcher arms.

Yep, I initially thought of him as a catcher and I guess I'll keep him training there. There's already a bunch of strong-arm outfielders in my system, and only two guys that can play catcher, one of which has only 10 arm and another one is left-handed.

Went HS and picked the only guy who didn't have some issues - lucked out with a 14 POT in Suzuki!

No hit tool to speak of but might make a decent CF/RF one day.

(edit: just checked, he has the highest rating of all my prospects!)

Generally speaking you probably don't want to waste an outstanding fielder in the outfield, unless your infield is full of amazing fielders. I haven't looked at your team though.

@newtman - Good point, hadn't considered that. My minors system was terrible when I took over: just two draft picks made until this season, and even then I blew my 1st rounder before properly reading the rules. I've drafted or signed 13 of the 21 minor leaguers on the team, and only one of the carry-overs was a VG/14POT rating.

Might try Suzuki at SS with that outstanding rating, and his 15 SPD, 17 RNG, 14 ARM.

He looks solid to be a very good defensive shortstop, good find in round 7.

For round 7, I'm pretty happy with a 13 POT platoon LF/ CF.
