Another catch and release pitcher today.

On the bright spot, Raul Peralta jumped from 109 SI to 116 SI. :)

Once again one "good" player out of ten.
Once again an 11 potential that has no chance of making the team.

went for:
very good hitter / prolific slugger / not very fast / good overall potential
sounds good
...
turn out it was this guy:

5 pitchers to choose from, all had "above average potential" as their entire report. Chose a hitter with the great hitting message and above average potential. He might have been my second best draft pick this season (12 potential), but not really good enough to project to play any position in the majors, so another instant cut.

No decent guys to choose from, nothing better than above average potential, a catch and release.

11 POT P, so cut. Only one with Good potential, but not much support in the scouting report.

Not great, but his scouting report seems solid enough to make him a keeper. Also the only "good" non-pitcher I pulled.

12-pot power hitter. Should not be anywhere near the outfield, but will potentially make a halfway decent catcher. sure, I already have one pot 12 one of those and am training a pot 13... but if Mendoza doesn't soon get it in gear I'm gonna start clearing some space, so he'll do.
