Write down their name, and then do a search when the drafting is done each week. @Seca - NOW he tells us! I've spent this 2+ seasons wondering the same as quanin, never occurred to me to do that, but I sure will from now on! @Rock - If we're playing golf rules I'm WAY down the leaderboard: 15 pot and 2 14 pots. @dwindacatcher - "Another garbage pick. Blah." If you give Ascencio 6 as his ceiling for Fielding, that gives you a max of 57 SI in hitting. Even if he maxes Hitting at 20 that leaves 37 in the other skills, with Power maxing at 11. In other words, 28 SI in BC and PD (16/15 split?). That's still one heckuva bat to have on your roster. |

buffmckagan Joined: 12/22/2013 Posts: 651 Scranton Bears Legends | I decided to go the Latin American route, and it was difficult when I had the choice between two "very good" players - an 18-year-old pitcher or a 21-year-old outfielder... While I felt the 18-year-old pitcher was the overall better prospect, I decided to break the traditional strategy of going best player available since I finally had the luxury of being able to choose to between the two (not to mention I have four rookie pitchers and more on the way, including a pair of 14 pot aces in Rookie/A ball). I picked the 21-year-old outfielder. Antonio Morales can be a good hitter and a decent slugger who already possesses great speed, and projects well to be an all right LF with 13 potential. I just am not in love with a 21-yo prospect still in rookie ball, but things could be worse, I suppose. Still hoping to get a good SS prospect - that's really all I need at this point, but it might have to wait until 2029. Updated Wednesday, July 27 2016 @ 9:28:29 pm PDT |
