What would you guys say is the minimum number to consider a Broken Bat player among the best of all time?
In the MLB, I think of 3,000 hits, 500 home runs, 300 wins, etc.
What would be the equivalent for Broken Bat?

Since the average "lifespan" of a player in BB is usually much less than in real baseball, and some feats are generally harder to achieve, I'd go with lesser number for wins and home runs.

So I'd say 2000 hits, 170-200 wins, 300 HR. Not sure about saves as I'm used to change my closer every couple of seasons, but I guess 400 saves should be good enough.

I'd go even lower. I'd say 150-175 wins, 1750 hits, and I'm not sure about HR but maybe even 275-300. Saves? Maybe 250. SB on the other hand I'd say 1000, because those numbers appear to be higher on Broken Bat.

My reasoning for hits is a guy like Booker Barber, who played for my organisation long before I took over. Best part of 14 complete seasons from age 25-38 (a long Broken Bat career, I'd say), played over 2000 games with over 6800 AB, and batted .281 - which was good for 1919 hits. Therefore I'd say 2000 is very tough to reach.

For saves my current closer will crush 250 at his current pace if I can afford to keep him by that point

If you're looking for the all-time greatest, the top 25 players in each stat can be found here:

I don't know how much it might be skewed by good players feasting off sabotaged teams though - there were a ridiculous number of runs scored off the old San Diego team the season they were sunk by a previous owner for example - I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of single game and season records had been written in that division that year...

I feel like the all time list is skewed due to the much older players taking up all the games and records. It was a different time.
