Most of my league is ranked way higher than me and I have been thumped all season. Has anyone else defaulted there settings and had good results? Are some managers more influential when left alone? | ||

It doesn't help unless you're really lost and want to get into the game slowly. You may want to start your listed RF at C because he has a great arm and no range, your C at 2B because he has a weak arm but good range and fielding, and your 3B at SS because he's a terrific all-round fielder. The default settings will play those guys at RF, C and 3B even though their stats really aren't suited for it. You may also have SPs who have ERAs over 5.00 because they get shelled by righties, but hold lefties to a .150 AVG - so they make good bullpen specialists. There are certain ways to do things, and trial and error is a good way to find out. |
