AssumedPseudonym Joined: 10/26/2016 Posts: 1130 Deerfield Beach Rats V.7	Okay, let’s break my numbers down a bit: 10 POT — 16.7% 11 POT — 28.6% 12 POT — 21.4% 13 POT — 21.4% 14 POT — 07.1% 15 POT — 04.8% 12+ POT — 54.8% 13+ POT — 33.3%  …Apparently my drafting here so far has been pretty good. Mind you, I’m not particularly surprised by this revelation, not considering some of the guys I’ve pulled.

Total of 102 draft picks: Less than 12 POT: 41 (40.2%) 12 POT: 34 (33.3%) 13 POT: 15 (14.7%) 14 POT: 9 (8.8%) 15+ POT: 3* (2.9%) *One of my 15 POTs came as 14 and popped in the Majors. 44 of my draft picks are still on a roster somewhere, 29 on my squad. Although to be honest I only regret releasing 1 of them...

GullyFoyle Joined: 02/16/2016 Posts: 129 Spokane Wolves IV.5	My first pick was round 3 back in 2026. 75 picks since then (I didn't pick in round 10 one season. 9 (2) 10 (9) 11 (20) 12 (20) 13 (19) 14 (4) 15 (1) 22 of them are still on my roster. Of those 1 starting pitcher and 2 relievers (all 3 are Asian). A catcher from Portugal, my all star 2B (another Asian) a backup infielder and my next all star 2B are the ones who have played in the majors and are still on the roster.

Squiddcatt Joined: 02/25/2016 Posts: 375 Inactive	My first pick was 2026 round 4 until 2028 I didn't know how to draft well here are my results. 9 pot x 2 10 pot x 13 11 pot x 19 12 pot x 19 13 pot x 11 14 pot x 5 Well my average is 11.56 so thats a little below average about what I expected.

newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive	I'll add the few stats I didn't include in my first post: Pre-draft history: Percent 12 POT+: 82.25 Percent 13 POT+: 50 Draft history: Percent 12 POT+: 68.6 Percent 13 POT+: 36.3 Total history: Percent 12 POT+: 73.8 Percent 13 POT+: 41.5 Judging from these numbers, I draft well above average. This helps to explain why extremely few of my players are waiver claims or free agent signings, along with my poor luck on waiver claims. That said, there are definite holes in my team that I would love to plug, but the draft hasn't provided me with the correct high level players to do so.

I started at the end of the 2020 season but will just include stats from the tracked draft history error. I've never drafted higher than a 14 pot. 9 - 1 10 - 9 11 - 23 12 - 37 13 - 26 14 - 10 Average: 12 Better average than I expected but I expect that is because I'm consistently mediocre. As Rock said, I'd happily trade from of the 11, 12 and 13's for 1 15+ and a handful or 8+9's!
