I'm not sure what you mean by that, but okay.

I got a very interesting player considering it's the ninth round. He'll likely be a lousy hitter, but his 20 arm could make him a decent defensive catcher. He could also man right field for defensive purposes late in the game, except, of course, for the fact that the AI can't figure out to do such a thing. Having a 68 SI while only being 18 is also intriguing. My guess is he'll be cut at spring training, but he might not be if I let go of two or more 30+ year old players.

There was a hint of sarcasm in my post before. It's very hard to hint out sarcasm online, I know.

Why am I not getting the draft a player option?

EDIT: I am not patient enough...I got it...and grabbed a throwaway 11 POT pitcher...nobody more than "poor hitter" or "lacks control" and all were "above average" or nothing...was hoping for a 9th round surprise!

@Mike - nice pickup at this stage!

I passed on my pick last round, for the first time since I joined, and doubt I'll be making another pick this season. My roster is full and I'm contending so I don't have much reason to change anything at the majors level, and the guy I'd be most likely to cut from my minors is likely to be (much?) better than anyone I could land at this stage. Think I'll be sticking with what I have until next season now.

10 POT pitcher. Everything was vomit-worthy. Expel.

Nice get for the ninth, Mike!

The only non-"above average potential" guy. May hold onto him to see if I can use him as a lefty-specialist reliever.

Managed to pull this guy out of the hat. I think I'll hold on to him and see if I can't put that 20 Range to use in the OF.

I got a rather interesting 11 POT. I doubt if he'll stay, but I've never seen a 20 range before, so why not. He could make an interesting outfielder.

@wickersty, 20 range guys are nice. I used to have one, though his range ultimately got adjusted down to 19. They plug the middle of the field very nicely.
