Take this little fella for example... he has low movement but he does fine in my park (max outfield depth, max foul ground, 35' walls all around). He was bad on the road last year in level 5 (4.82) but good at home (2.14). But here's where it gets weird. The year before in level 6 his road ERA was 1.38 and his ERA in my big park was still fine at 2.72. But here's the weirdest thing: His numbers are atrocious as a starter no matter whose park he's in. In fact, despite being a righty with 15 stamina, he really only does well at LHS. tl;dr Maybe move McCann around and see if he's better in another role... and for goodness' sake, man, move those high school fences back a bit next season. |
