Rosa was dominant in his only relief appearance, which is more than can be said for a couple of the SPs for Puerto Rico, but hopefully he will play better during the season with less usage in the World Classic. | ||

On the personal side, my man Perez for Mexico had a strange WC. He had an embarrassing .167 BA, but cranked out 5 homers in just 48 at bats, his highest homer rate ever. 5 homers, 2 doubles, 1 single. How weird is that? As an aside, it would be cool to have an all-time World Cup leaderboard. In theory. If you know me, you know I don't want Steve wasting time on such things. Who can beat 19 homers by Perez? I bet he's really high for non-Americans. Updated Thursday, May 10 2018 @ 7:00:07 pm PDT |
