Hayseed Joined: 02/20/2018 Posts: 290 Hood River Hawks IV.1	This guy is on the bubble with me. His SI numbers look just like a meh 12 POT for 1B, but so far in the minors he just rakes each year. Should I reconsider cutting this guy? Of course there is context to consider, but generally do you consider performance in the minors much at all? Updated Monday, August 27 2018 @ 6:45:23 pm PDT

amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2237 New York Lancers V.4	I wouldn't consider performance in the low minors at all, and you tend to get a much better idea of overall performance at AA and AAA. I don't rate Emerson that much, I don't think he'll develop his PD enough to be an asset...but you don't have to listen to me - I'm the one who drafted & cut him on the same day!!
