If I expect to see any of my players on here its Mejia and Rock, but the last series in LA's 'cosy confines' blew up my pitchers while conversely promoting my hitters. Guess Soto isn't a surprise, did have a cracking series and he just made All-Star. Nice work.

Tamori Team - Novi Doubledays ERA - 0.00 BAA - 0.143 GM Sc - 82 IP - 7 K - 6 H - 3 W Marino used the "death by a thousand cuts" approach and had himself a day with 12 hits in 21 AB's, 11 of them singles! Another PPD selection for Novi this time the first for Tamori, Novi now has 5 PPD selections to date.

Mejia Team - New York Lancers ERA - 0.00 BAA - 0.074 GM Sc - 94 IP - 9 K - 8 H - 2 W Dinos player getting the nod for PPD (hitter) for the second day in a row! The PPD pitcher selection was S. Mejia from the Lancers, it was his second selection making him the first pitcher to be selected twice and second player overall to be PPD selection twice after P. Elkins from Novi had done it a couple of days ago. A really strong day for pitchers. Plenty of strong performances worth mention, but I'll mention a RP who went 3G - 9IP - 1H - 1ER - 5K - 1W - 0.037 BAA facing 30 batters!!! Now that's a SIM night for Battle Creek Sting, G. Ordonez!

Rock Team - New York Lancers ERA - 0.00 BAA - 0.167 GM Sc - 84 IP - 8 K - 6 H - 4 W After a SIM where it seemed the top performers were pitchers, this time around the hitters showed up to play! Massive SIM day for Novi's V. Lee that in 4 games hit a modest .733 with a (gulp) 2.018 OPS!!! He likely doesn't beat the XR record because he "only" played 4 games. He was however the hitter PPD selection, despite other hitters boasting top class performances. M. Rock from the Lancers earns his 2nd PPD selection with a rock (pun intended) performance in last night's SIM. With that the Lancers now have two players (both pitchers) earn two PPD selections. Only one other team has a player achieve 2 PPD selections, Novi with hitter P. Elkins.

Flynn Team - Waterloo Dinosaurs AVE - 0.450 OPS - 1.592 XR - 8.4 2B 3B HR - 3 R - 10 RBI - 9 Pitcher Name - M. Cedillo Team - Alexandria Athletics ERA - 0.00 BAA - 0.208 GM Sc - 84 IP - 8 K - 6 H - 5 W Heck of a SIM series for Dinos, A. Flynn, it's his first PPD selection. And he did it all yesterday (shy of a SB), 3 bombs, a triple a double with 9 runs scored and 10 driven in! Pitchers be running! M. Cedillo gets the nod for Pitcher PPD with a strong outing he went 8 strong innings striking out 6 allowing 5 hits no runs and no walks. Also his first PPD selection. Honorable mention to Kalamazoo Bloody Tigers hitter, H. Watanabe, he got a monster SIM as well and ended up just being edged by Flynn, likely because Flynn had an "extra" 4 AB's. But his numbers are impressive: .688 AVG - 1.924 OPS - with 5 doubles, 1 bomb, 8 runs and 6 RBI. His XR score was 8.3, just shy of Flynn's 8.4! Fun note: Broomfield Roadrunners, S. Canno had 4 hits in yesterday SIM. All 4 were homeruns!
