Things are going along fine until another new arm surrenders a 3 run bomb in the 8th. Rubber arm Baker comes in for 6-1/3 extra innings of scoreless relief, despite putting no less than 16 runners on base (counting IBBs and an error). The game ends with a walk-off victory when Mora hits a HR, playing in his first series since being claimed off waivers. Updated Thursday, August 29 2019 @ 11:46:23 pm PDT |

Here's a reliever with barely any fastball or movement. His FIP is absurdly high. And yet year after year with us, he's done a great job of giving quality innings, with an ERA 2 whole points below his FIP. |

Definitely uncommon! Bonus, both were catchers, and Huang was picked up as an 11 POT while I was still running that theme for Boca Raton. | ||
