Yes, there are knuckle ball pitchers -- they are just rare. Also a knuckle curve is a different pitch than a knuckle ball.

Some examples are: Jose Soto & Billy Robinson

Most knuckle ball pitchers throw mostly or exclusively that one pitch.

Thought I'd resurrect this post to see if anyone has picked up any K-ballers in their squad. I managed to uncover two in the past few seasons:

http://brokenbat.org/player/194295" class="bbcode_url" rel="external nofollow" target="_blank">Dan Santoro

It's too early to tell for Santoro but I am quite excited to see how Herrera does. He averages 10 SI/year growth since I picked him up and he is one of the few K-ballers I've discovered with a movement description and tertiary pitch.

I’m still looking for even a decent kballer prospect. Haven’t found one yet. :(

Was his main appeal his screwball? Or was that just a bonus to having a good pitching build?

Probably on par with a curveball or slider, but it's a fun pitch :)

He does have the build I prefer in a 12 POT reliever.
