There is no way that a Round 1 draft board should literally contain 10 completely unsignable, complete waste of space no talent no ability trash players. IMO we really need to fine tune some way were there is a minimally viable first round board... and let it scale in quality from there, instead of dead ass random from R1. https://imgur.com/a/XHbpzce |

Had a decent board today myself, and while we'll have to wait and see how his hitting & fielding develop Fugate should prove very useful. |

Yours would be acceptable for a round #3 or #4, at round #1 feels demoralizing. I saw that you botched also round 2, hope you rebound next year with a couple of 15 pot guys in first rounds, good luck! Updated Monday, February 24 2025 @ 2:56:01 am PST |

Getting a bad board is equivalent to a real life early pick that doesn't ever pan out. I think on this type of thing he is looking big picture and needs some randomization for bad early round picks. He probably wants people who pick later in the day or week to still have good picks and still wants a good distribution of good picks in the following rounds. If it's randomly generated fairly for everyone then over time it should affect teams somewhat equally. | ||

Some people are getting three POT 17s on their first board, while others consistently get nothing higher than POT 12. In reality, a LOT of the POT 15/16s in the game are actually duds. So dud boards would still happen even if there was some guaranteed POT level. It just feels REALLY discouraging when your best option for several years in a row is POT 11... |
