Favuz Joined: 02/26/2014 Posts: 638 Oxnard Sunsets IV.3	as i wrote on the open thread, we tried real hard to throw it, luckily Sant Barbara wasn't in a good streak either. We needed 2-1 in the last head to head to clinch, we went 3-0, turning point was a 9 run inning in the 2nd game, we went from 7-2 to 7-11 and we almost secured the top. Had we lost that game, all would be decided in the last. Davila did not have a good season, but when it mattered the most (cup group last deciding game and last series) he delivered with a no hitter and a complete game shutout. Really clutch player. Now on with the playoffs, Lenexa is not in good form (like us), doesn't matter a lot to me if we win or lose. GL to Lincoln Park for the next season, hope to see you again in 2063 (hopefully in league V and not league VI again )

SanKaloon Joined: 06/24/2023 Posts: 34 Lincoln Park Wolves V.5	2062 season starts tomorrow! Let's go! A productive off-season should hopefully get us a few additional wins this season. We've added some depth and hopefully some pop to the outfield with Calderon and Santana. We feel good up the middle with Gotz and Cisneros at SS and 2B, respectively. Our pitching staff is starting to age, but we've got some quality arms developing in the minors. Medlin had a nice spring and hopes to grow into a larger role in the bullpen. And the renovations on the park should make it a more friendly environment. Good luck to everyone on a great 2062 season!
