| In the Game Engine Algorithm Discussion on pinch hitting the score isn't factored in. If you are leading defense should have more weight, if you are behind batting. If its a tie the away team is considered to be behind and the home team is considered to be leading. With defensive replacements in the 8th and 9th innings particular scrutiny can be put on players who are unlikely to get another at bat. |
