Today is the anniversary of Kerry Wood's 20K game, May 6th, 1998. As a Cubs fan since the early 80s with WGN, Harry Caray, Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Don Zimmer, and of course Sammy, all the history, that's still my favorite game ever. Kerry Wood is my favorite player ever. I know we won a World Series in 2016, but that doesn't compare to the Kerry Wood game in my mind - that was pure magic.

I will say that the 2nd best game I ever watched was the Kirk Gibson game in the 1988 WS - also magic, especially with Vin Scully on the call. Do you have a game that sticks in your mind as your favorite game you've ever watched?

Highlights of Narciso Elvira's no-hitter, Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes, Seibu Lions, '00. Teammate of power hitter Tuffy Rhodes. The majority of television programming that I watched as a young person was Spanish-speaking television, and Elvira was Mexican.

Living in Italy, I didn't have any access to Live baseball.
However, the 1989 Bay Bridge Series were carried by an obscure local TV channel ( 100% sure the feed was somehow pirated!)

Consequently, my strongest memory is from the day of the earthquake.
I recall I went to school under shock (games on the west coast are 3am in Italy)
