Want is the nature of your pitcher and mgmt setting? You're not using a RHP as the LH specialist or LHP as the RH specialist -- are you? Steve |

I used to give him a 0 pitch count and he would get a couple innings in a training period. Current settings are hook = 2, first inning = 5, RD on defaults. I have two of them set up basically the same way in case a team I'm facing has their batting order go L-R-L. I have them set up as LHS and LHS2. I have one set to come in no earlier than the 7th inning, the other the 8th. Had a situation in a game today where it was the bottom of the 8th, the opposition had L-R-L-L coming up and my RH middle reliever stayed in the entire inning. How exactly am I supposed to set this up? My MR was under his pitch count, is that the only reason my LHS did not come in the game? How exactly does the game decide when they come in? I guess I figured they would enter the game when a LH batter came to the plate, period. Now, I'm guessing it still uses pitch count, hook for current pitcher, etc. before bringing in the specialist. Can anyone clear this up for me? | ||

Until they exceed those, no one will take their place. The only exception is the closer, if you have one. Updated Friday, May 26 2017 @ 6:21:14 pm PDT |
