If I am correct, Ben Sanders hit two grand slams in the series. Mario Barraza is a bullpen god. We're hitting the road for Kihei with our roll on. |

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive | BEWARE! A SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE! I got swept by Tempe. No, that's not an omen of impending doom, just a bit of bad luck to not get a win or maybe two. It dropped us to 21-34, a depressing .381 WPCT. Then... Omg. I won 4 of 5 visiting Oceanview Woods, including a one-run victory. That was yesterday. Today was the PREPARE FOR THE END OF TIMES day. We swept Ventura, as in we won all the games, and they were leading the West in RD. I can't even comprehend such things. It isn't just that we won, but how these strange events happened. We won game one by two, and two by one thanks to a ninth inning three-run rally. Then we won game three by a run in ten innings, then game four by one in eleven. To finish off the series, we won by three in ten. WTH?! Prior to yesterday, we were 6-13 in one run games and 2-4 in extra inning games. Don't say I didn't warn you. In the last one we had two blown saves and then a third pitcher blew a one run lead, but only took the loss and not a third blown save because he entered the game when the score was tied.

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive | Started the day with a pitching classic. 5 hits versus 4 with the first and only run occurring in the eighth. Too bad it was for the wrong team. Edit--Make it dual pitching duels. Game two had eleven hits with the only run coming in the seventh...again by the wrong team. Ugh. Updated Saturday, November 5 2016 @ 4:14:25 pm PDT |

amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2238 New York Lancers V.4 | Our opponent last night had, in game five, a pitcher throw a 9-inning shutout in a 9-inning game...and lost. Unfortunately for them he didn't start the game, and we scored 4 runs before an out was made to win 4-1. Makes up for going just 2-8 the series prior against Olympia, who appear to be my new Rocklin (ie. nemesis). Updated Monday, November 7 2016 @ 8:16:12 am PST |

Clawed it back most of the way but then dropped the last game to finish 29-31, which I'll take given that horrendous start.

Decent enough for a team fighting for second in a LL6 division. |
