After having never pulled a 15 POT in four game seasons, we pull our second one this year: Juan Manuel Aparicio I almost didn't take him because he didn't have plus hitting text. Had a lot of pitching choices, but none of them stood out. Gambled on the "very good." Hoping the hitting and fielding maxes to best possible for no report. Not sure what I want to do defensively with him yet. SS is tempting despite the mediocre fielding. Could use a rangey center fielder but eh... I dunno'. He's only 16! There's time to mull it over. |

I think that despite any fielding report it might be worth a shot to give Aparicio SS training, although I doubt he tops 12 in that skill. Will make a fine outfielder in any case. I was going to go Latin myself but there was a very good pot HS player who was one of my choices in round one that hadn't come out yet, so went there and got a C&R. Which was quite a relief, have a bit of a roster crunch at the moment. |

I guess I should feel super lucky this year. Remind me later to not complain when I have a string of 20 bad draft picks.

Instead I found a guy that can straight up play second base with 19 range. Tomohiro "Tommy Yommy" Yamaguchi. 13 pot. Now if he can hit, that'd be huge. If he has power or can steal bases, also huge. Feeling really fortunate today. Carmello Marroquin may have to be moved to SS to make room for Tommy if he works out. |

He'll strike out too much and never walk, but he might be able to make up enough ground everywhere else, especially center field, to play. Since he's already capital OF, he'll also become an experiment at short as a lefty.

Needed to high roll his above average potential, but the dice were cold. A lottery ticket worth playing.
