Are the franchise fees posted for each league level? I feel like these shouldn't be a secret/surprise and boy was I surprised this morning.

@Steve maybe these should be added to the manual? It would certainly help budgeting player and manager salaries.

I don't think they are posted, but they increase quite a bit between levels.

LL-III is 8,500,000
LL-II is 13,500,000

I don't remember the other, but I its a similar pattern. And I believe is $0 at LL-VI.

I know IV is $2,500,000 and V and VI are $0

interesting how the math works out for level 3 to 2

5,000,000 increase in fees 3 to 2

80 home dates, $15 per attendee

5,000,000 / (80 * 15) = 5,000

thus you should plan on a 5,000 attendance increase of attendance level 2 over level 3...so increase seating capacity by 5,000 when you move up to level 2

and also the fee increase removes the attendance/revenue benefit for advancing to level 2

there is $6M difference from IV to III.

Some of that is offset by tv and radio. Adding 5k seats also costs 500k.

Don't forget the cup effectively adds at least 10 games worth of revenue.

Okay...I can add them I think -- if I can remember what they are... :-)

I believe the franchise fees are as follows:

L 1 18,500,000 annual
L 2 13,500,000 annual
L 3 8,500,000 annual
L 4 2,500,000 annual
L 5 & L 6, no fees

i've climbed from bottom to the top and am now settling down to less time-eating levels.

it appears there is a $5 million fee increase between the 3 top levels...meanwhile, TV & Radio Revenue increase $3 million per level...so in other words, there is a net $2 million charge per level when advancing from level 3 to 2 to 1...put another way, that's 1,666.67 seats to sell per home game to just stay even (2000000 /80 /15)...that has to be paid before considering increases to salary for players and coaches that also go along with advancing.
