Haverhill took great strides in repairing Waterloo's HR differential.

Getting Wynne to 2 wins (ie., 117 career and sole possession of #9 on our team leaderboard) is proving to be exceptionally painful.

We've staked him to leads just to have the bullpen blowout. We have him a huge lead in one game just for his pitch count to trip at 4.2. And there has been an awful lot of bad pitching (now 10 HRs allowed in 42 IP).

It would be really nice if he could get this done. We would love the rotation spot / roster spot / salary dump.

Dinos needed a sweep in our last cup series to survive. Managed to pull it off. The extra bit of income is a thing. Down over 30 million in the past 4 seasons.

Dinos have been mostly on autopilot for a while this season. Life is pretty busy.

Happy with the all-star selections. Ramirez in particular.

He was a late round draft pick. 12 pot. "Good" hitting scouting. We didn't expect much of him. Thought he would be a 4th OF / occasional fill in at 2B. 4 time all-star was not on our radar.

I think Ramirez and Schuler are the only 2 players with "good" hitting to have stand out careers with Waterloo.

Will try to pay more attention in the second half, tho the team does seem to be performing well without me.

I would run on auto-pilot too if it meant having a lock on 1st place all season, LOL.

Bravo! To the division winners Tombstone and Waterloo!

Pierre's 2068 offense was never found, and will forever remain lost. A sub .230 RISP being the great big bad villain of the season, the foremost focus of the off-season will be completely reconfiguring and hopefully reinvigorate the offense so that a further demotion doesn't happen next season.

The pitching had its highs and lows; last season'd Cy Young being shown the door midway through the season, Carrasco the only true starter earning an all star nod. Pierre lacks a true five man starting staff, but the bullpen (Hawkins, Ren, & Valentin) did it's thing and plenty of "opener's" were cycled through; Moreland , Pratt, and even Brooks was thrown to the wolves.

Not a ton of pipeline talent to get super excited about other than Ortega, so the hit and miss cycle of waiver/free agent fill ins will probably continue next season.

Haverhill is happy to avoid relegation. We managed to snag a few passable pitchers during the season, which helped Haverhill stay afloat. We still have the worst pitching in the league though...

32 year old Keishi Sugiyama (1 claim) 1.364 WHIP
31 year old Gonzalo Garza (2 claims) 1.359 WHIP
30 year old Javier Lucero (4 claims) 1.335 WHIP
26 year old Gonzalo Lezcano (1 claim) 1.444 WHIP

Lezcano struggled a bit with hits in some of the larger parks (due to his VERY high GB/FB), but his K/BB ratio is really good, so I'm hoping he can be useful for a few seasons. I guess its the hits, but I was kind of surprised that no other small park teams put in a claim on him.

POT 12 minors product Mario Acuna seems to have stalled out at POT 10... Another guy who missed his POT by 2 levels... These guys are killing me. Maybe I need to change the team name...

Thank you all for a great season.

Congratulations to Tombstone and Waterloo.

Four straight division titles for Tombstone. Amazing feat for Freddy! Most of us are happy to avoid relegation for 4 seasons straight. I think only MrTwoPlums had done that in the early days of the game.

A 100-win season for Waterloo. The last time a LL team has won 100+ games is also the Waterloo Dinosaurs. You have to go all the way back to 2056 to find another team (Concord Jets) for winning 100+ games.

A great match-up between the two great owners of the game. Can they please publish their secrets so we can all copy it :)

Best of luck to both teams.

Thanks guys.

'Grats and good luck to the Dinos.

Waterloo is on auto pilot right now. Not sure if that helps or hurts the Pistoleros chances! kidding of coarse. The Dinos (and Halflings) predate my career at Broken Bat so always fun to cross paths.
Legendary run by Scranton. Good luck to the Bears and see you soon.

Thanks for the kind words boltsman. Another good season for you guys. Eden Prairie looks like they might be the team to beat soon enough after a 1st and then 2nd place finish. Good job.

@JJNZ and Pierre: Cheers guys. Should be some good times in the II leagues next season with you guys and the Cards etc. Good luck (and good riddance to the three of ya! hahaha
