Clear space for #8, or go into the offseason with a full roster of 50. If we moved it forward, you would be able to sign FA and waivers after the 8th round. So that game trade-off would be lost.

You can only draft if you have fewer than fifty players on your team (including the Minors). If you have fifty players on Friday, you can cut one and draft at any point during the week (though it’s generally advised to draft as soon as possible after the draft is opened).

When I get a few things under control, I think it might be worth seeing if I can squeeze a week out of the overall flip and re-start. Definitely want to keep the fixed days for draft & training days. The other was 1 pot lower with a range of 16, and decent slugger with hitting starting at 4. His stats were better. I guess time will tell if I picked the right one. I've largely been succeeding due to having gotten even more stars than most during those few busted seasons. Updated Friday, April 30 2021 @ 12:27:23 pm PDT |

And yet I had three 14POTs, all of whom were just good potential. One was like the pitcher above, one would "never be a decent hitter", and the third was the one I took:- Just a good potential on Grisson so maybe just a 13POT, but had the best scouting report by far, pretty much the ideal pitching report. |

I look at some of the lineups I compete against and keep saying “wish I had a guy like that”. At any rate those careers won’t last forever and then the playing field will be more level.
