| Pretty interesting choice this round, one of the toughest ever for me. Went for a SS, skipped a 15 pot very good with no hitting report and went for Baca. Main reasons: - SS was 24 yo and japanese, with a good chance that he didn't reach his potential - Baca is a lefty - Baca is young, i need younger guys because my current SS is 25 - Baca can play 3B, which i need (and i'll train him in 3B) - i can always find a good SS with no hitting report in the next round So went for him, if he bumps a point i'll know i've made the right choice, otherwise, probably not. Had i drafter Baca in #2-#3 round a found a proper 15 pot very good SS would have been way better, but whatever |

| Went Pitcher. Had a couple of 13s with reasonable comments and a wild 14, but as there was a 16 with good comments, not stacked in range/arm, even development across the key attributes, low HRs I picked him without too much consideration of the 13s. | At least my guy has a good name… Went looking for a SP again, was pretty disappointed, especially after I saw what independence got. Only 2 draftable guys on my board, one was a 12 with ML fastball and some breaking ball comment. Had below average control. Then there was De La Torre http://brokenbat.org/player/345509 14 pot with just a fastball comment, I honestly kind of regret my choice. He’ll probably go down to 13, other guy could go up. I just couldn’t resist the potential. Hope I get a bit better in round 2 and looks like I’ll be going back again to the pitcher pool in round three and round 1 of next year. |

| Some nice picks. Do think you made the right choice with Baca Favuz. Dinos were determined to hit the P pool with our first rounder this year. But we cracked at the last moment and went SS. Found a very nice player. He is likely to slot in as a cannon armed 2B for us. We plan to move Carlson to SS after White retires. Hopefully Park is ready around then. |

| Just another day in paradise for New York. Was going to go SS or College, but thought third time would be the charm for the HS pool... Had two "never be a decent hitter", two pitchers who "may never get out of the minor leagues" and a 6 POT. In round 1. YEESH. At least I got a very good pot this time, but he looks pretty poor. And to rub salt in it, I hate coffee. |

| I got this guy: Elton Lang He's rangey and could be a capable CF in the future I think. I passed up a "very good" potential pitcher with an unhittable fastball as his only scouting report - didn't save him, so I will never know if I made an error  |
